Stephen Jennings

I was born in Rome, GA on November 8, 1978. My dad is a pastor, so I have been a part of the church my whole life. I was saved at 6 years old, and started playing music at 14 years old. I loved playing in church and began a passion for helping others worship through music. After high school I went to Southern Polytechnic State University and received my Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering Technology in 2001. While in college, I took on different leadership roles as a worship ministry volunteer, where my passion grew. After college, I began co-leading the youth worship team at my church. While there, I met my wife, Jessica, and we got married in 2006.

During a worship service in June of 2009, God called me to vocational ministry. He clearly called me to pursue worship ministry and seminary, and through much prayer indicated that we were New Orleans bound.

In January 2010, I started work on my MA in Worship at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and served at three different churches in the New Orleans area. After graduating in 2015, I began as the bi-vocational Associate Pastor of Music and Worship at Colyell Baptist Church in Livingston, LA. While serving there I also had the opportunity to teach Digital Media at Mentorship STEAM Academy (a charter high school) in Baton Rouge, LA.

God called us to Clough Pike in July of 2019, and we have absolutely loved it here! Both the church and the city have been great, and we are so glad to call Ohio our home!
